New business park set to create 14,000 new jobs next to Coventry airport

Recent plans have been unveiled regarding a business park that could be created near Coventry airport and it is estimated that this could create up to 14,000 new jobs in the local area.

The project is estimated to have a value of around £250 million and the plans have recently been given to Coventry City Council as well as Warwick District Council. It is expected that the plans are going to be looked over by authorities soon, and approval is either going to be given, or denied, by the end of the year.

This is a park that is going to have a focus on technology, and it is likely to appeal to companies in the automotive, digital, high-tech, and aerospace industries. It is estimated that the park itself is going to provide 4000 jobs, and the construction of it is going to see 6000 people employed.

Additionally, 4000 jobs are going to be created in the local area as road improvements are made, and other updates to infrastructure are conducted. It is estimated that the project could start construction in 2013, assuming the planning permission is given by the end of this year.
