Graham Beale tipped to be new Lloyds Bank boss

Current Nationwide Chief Executive, Graham Beale, has been installed as the bookies favourite to replace Eric Daniels as boss of the bailed-out Lloyds Banking Group.

Beale is considered the 5/2 favourite by leading betting firm Paddy Power ahead of Lloyds Head of Retail, Helen Weir, at 11/4 and ex-Labour Trade Minister, Mervyn Davies, at 4/1.

Other names on the bookies shortlist include Royal Bank of Canada boss, Gordon Nixon, at 6/1 along with the CEO of RSA, Andy Haste, and boss of Aussie bank Westpac, Gail Kelly, both at odds of 8/1.
